The updated National Determined Contribution, which is a milestone in the implementation of the Paris Agreement and includes greenhouse gas emission reduction targets in Türkiye's fight against climate change, was submitted to the United Nations (UN) Secretariat (April 13, 2023).

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, with the contributions of institutions and organizations under the Climate Change and Adaptation Coordination Board, Türkiye's updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) was prepared and registered in the NDC registry of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
