Türkiye's first ‘Climate Law Proposal’ has been passed by the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) General Assembly and has become law.

Turkey's first Climate Law, which contains 20 articles, 2 provisional articles and amendments to 3 different laws, has been adopted by the TBMM.

During the TBMM General Assembly session on 2 July 2025, discussions on the articles of the Climate Law Proposal submitted to the TBMM Presidency in February were completed, and all articles were approved.
