Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council, recognises 14 projects from European chemical companies and national associations for reflecting the Responsible Care Global Charter and advancing a safer, more sustainable future. Two dedicated categories honour National Associations and SMEs, alongside a special category celebrating the legacy of Jean Bélanger, founder of Responsible Care.

“This year’s Responsible Care Awards carry even more significance, as we celebrate two milestones – 20 years of the European Awards and 40 years of the global Responsible Care programme. These Awards recognise initiatives that advance safety, sustainability, and responsible practices across the chemical industry. Congratulations to all the winners and commendations for their exceptional dedication to innovation, operational excellence, and fostering a culture of responsibility”

-Marco Mensink, Director General, Cefic.
