Responsible Care® is a voluntary initiative of the global chemical industry aimed at enhancing environmental, health, safety, and security performance.

The Responsible Care webtool, developed by Cefic, offers features that help users to assess their Responsible Care® performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement in chemicals management and operational excellence, while ensuring full data protection. Available in 17 languages, the webtool supports chemical companies to advance their Responsible Care® journey.  

The Responsible Care® webtool helps companies improve the safe production, handling, and use of chemicals across supply chains. The webtool questionnaire has recently been updated to align with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), further supporting companies to streamline their efforts.
