In order to effectively manage the registration and data acquisition related matters under the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, published on June 23, 2017, the "Procedures and Principles Regarding the Implementation of the KKDIK Regulation" was published on August 5, 2025, under the signature of the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat KURUM.

In the implementation of the Procedures and Principles and the chemicals legislation in Turkey, the main consideration was not only the goal of controlling the risks posed by chemicals to the environment and human health, but also the sustainability of trade. In addition, regulations have been made for the studies on chemical management to be carried out with the direct contributions of the Chemicals Advisory Group and the Chemicals Science Group to be established. According to the relevant paragraphs of Article 12 of the aforementioned procedure and principles, it has been stipulated that the Chemicals Advisory Group and the Chemicals Science Group will meet twice a year to provide information and evaluation on existing questions and problems regarding work and activities within the scope of chemical management, to conduct studies on the integration of chemicals into education processes, and to evaluate unresolved issues.
