Dear Members,

Simplification Omnibus Law, the European Commission proposes changes that reduce bureaucratic burden and facilitate compliance by addressing interactions between different pieces of legislation through multi-subject simplification packages (omnibus). The proposed changes must undergo approval processes by the European Parliament and the EU Council to become law.  

In this context,  

• The first omnibus related to sustainability and  
• The second omnibus related to investment  

were announced on February 26.
