Draft Regulation on Amendments to the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change has opened the "Draft Regulation on Amendments to the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation" for comments and suggestions.


The Draft has been prepared to ensure compliance with the amendments made to the Environmental Law No. 2872, to improve provisions that have caused problems in practice, and to take into account technological developments and innovations in production processes. It is anticipated that the relevant articles of the Regulation will be reorganised and limited changes will be made to the annexed lists.


The rationale, Draft Regulation and Comparison Table are included in the Annex.


Please prepare your comments on the draft using the Feedback Form in the Annex, adding your comments on the relevant articles in the Comparison Table, and send them to Yasemin Kayhan (yasemin. kayhan@tksd.org.tr) and the Turkish Chemical Manufacturers Association (tksd@tksd.org.tr) by the end of the working day on 13 October 2025 at the latest.
