As part of ICCA's KPI Improvement Project, the RC KPI Webtool, a new platform where international Responsible Care® measurements can be compiled and collected based on KPI data, was created by ICCA in 2024 to demonstrate the progress made in the area of Responsible Care® to external stakeholders.
Since its launch in 2024, reporting in the KPI Webtool system has been two years behind schedule; in 2024, the most recent data available for reporting was that of 2022, and in 2025, the most recent data available for reporting was that of 2023.
In addition, due to KPI Webtool being a new application, the option to enter data retroactively back to 2020 has been made available for 2024 and 2025 in order to establish a robust database rapidly.
However, with the latest decision taken by the Cefic Responsible Care® working groups, it is planned to reduce the lag time from 2 years to 1 year. In line with this, the KPI Webtool system has been opened for reporting for the second time in 2025 in order to collect 2024 data.
Therefore, data from 2020 to 2024 can currently be entered into the KPI Webtool. However, it is anticipated that the option to enter retrospective data will be removed in 2026. Therefore, it is planned that only 2025 data will be reported in 2026, only 2026 data in 2027, and that the KPI Webtool system will operate in this manner in subsequent years.
KPI Webtool 2024 Data Entry DEADLINE: 30 September 2025
In this context, no changes have been made to the ICCA KPI WEBTOOL REPORTING GUIDANCE, which explains the interface of the Webtool, and the ICCA GUIDANCE FOR REPORTING PERFORMANCE, which provides information on the content and scope of the Key Performance Indicators to be used during reporting.
