Ministry Letter on the KKDIK Provisional Registration Process

According to the information forwarded to us by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), companies subject to registration obligations under KKDIK are required to complete their Provisional Registration procedures by 30 September 2026. The Ministry has stated that, following this date, controls and inspections will be carried out to verify whether companies have Provisional Registration/Registration numbers for the substances they manufacture or import.

We would like to share with you the attached official letter from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, General Directorate of Environmental Management, which was forwarded to TKSD by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).


The letter reiterates that companies subject to registration obligations under the Procedures and Principles for the Implementation of the Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDIK) are required to complete their Provisional Registration by 30 September 2026.


The Ministry also states that, following 30 September 2026, necessary controls and inspections will be carried out to verify whether companies have Provisional Registration/Registration numbers for the substances they manufacture or import. In this respect, it is important for our members subject to registration obligations to complete their Provisional Registration procedures within the specified deadline.
