The first move on the EU side began with the First Circular Economy Action Plan (Circular Economy consisting of 7 areas and 54 actions) published in 2015.
-In 2019, the EU Green Deal was introduced as a new growth strategy aimed at more efficient use of resources and the creation of a more competitive economy.
-Subsequently, a new circular economy action plan comprising 7 action areas and 35 actions was implemented.
The changes that have been or will be introduced by the legislation have caused a stir in the business world.
