The Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change, Directorate General of Environmental Management, hereby submits to your attention the official correspondence sent to our Association regarding the following matters.
- Reminder Regarding the Deadlines for Chemical Substance Registrations under the KKDİK
"The relevant letter sent to us states that the registration obligations for chemical substances placed on the market under the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDİK Regulation) are subject to a phased schedule specified in the relevant procedures and principles. In accordance with the schedule updated by the regulation published on 5 August 2025, the deadlines specified below are important for your members to fulfil their obligations on time. We would like to remind our members to review their substances subject to the KKDIK Regulation and their tonnages, complete pre-registration/ pre-MBDF procedures, designate a lead company for joint registration, apply for temporary registration as a lead company if full registration is not possible, and begin preparations according to the final registration schedule.

- Preparation of Safety Data Sheets & Uploading to the Ministry's SDS Notification System
"In the relevant letter sent to us, it was requested that our members be informed that it is a legal requirement to prepare Safety Data Sheets for hazardous chemical substances and mixtures and upload them to the Ministry's Safety Data Sheet Notification System application, which is accessible via the Ministry's EÇBS (Integrated Environmental Information System)/UÇBS portal."
