The legislative process was completed with the signature of the Legislation prepared by the European Commission for the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) by the Council of the EU, the European Parliament and the Commission on 10 May 2023 and the Legislation was published in the EU Official Journal on 16 May 2023.

In this context, the study titled "Potential Impact of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism on the Turkish Economy " conducted jointly by the Directorate of Climate Change and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been completed and the final version of the report is submitted for your information.
