On 25 September 2026, the Plastics Industrialists Association (PAGDER), with the support of the Turkish Chemical Manufacturers Association (TKSD), held a webinar titled “KKDIK Process: Questions and Answers.”

19.10.2026

The event brought together representatives of the chemical and plastics industries to discuss the registration processes carried out under the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDIK), as well as the challenges encountered by the industry in practice.

The webinar was moderated by Dr. Ali Şenol Gündoğan, Regulatory Affairs Coordinator at TKSD, and featured Hakan Görgülüler, Founder of SustainChem Consultancy, and Elif Fulya Koray, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Manager at Ege Kimya San. ve Tic. A.Ş., as speakers.

During the webinar, participants discussed registration obligations under the KKDIK Regulation, key considerations in the registration process, and practical challenges faced by companies. Expert speakers addressed questions submitted by participants prior to the event, as well as those raised through the chat during the webinar.

The questions raised during the event and their corresponding answers were compiled into a Q&A document for the benefit of industry stakeholders.

Prepared with the contributions of TKSD as part of the webinar organized by PAGDER, the document aims to contribute to a better understanding of obligations under the KKDIK Regulation, clarify uncertainties encountered in practice, and strengthen knowledge sharing across the industry.

As TKSD, we remain committed to supporting the chemical industry's regulatory compliance efforts, strengthening the exchange of knowledge and experience among industry stakeholders, and carrying out informative activities in collaboration with relevant organizations.
