In order to ensure that wastewater treatment plants in our country are operated effectively, efficiently and in compliance with legislation, the qualifications, their certification, and the procedures and principles regarding their duties, authorities, and responsibilities have been determined by the Circular on Technical Personnel Working in Wastewater Treatment Plants, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 23 May 2019 and numbered 30782 and entered into force.
Due to the need to address issues arising from the implementation of the aforementioned circular, a revision was deemed necessary, and a draft circular titled ‘Draft Circular on Amendments to the Circular on Technical Personnel Working in Wastewater Treatment Plants’ has been prepared.
In this context, the "Draft Regulation on Amendments to the Regulation on Technical Personnel Working in Wastewater Treatment Plants" is being submitted for evaluation as an attachment, and your opinions should be submitted in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles for the Preparation of Legislation, using the Opinion Submission Form included in the attachment, by 18.07. 2025.
