Upon successful completion of this training, trainees are expected to achieve the following objectives:

1) To recognize the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, its annexes and related guidelines and to understand how they can be used when necessary.

2) To have knowledge of the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals as well as the duties and obligations of companies as per this regulation.

3) To recognize and be able to use the Chemical Registration System (KKS) that is part of the Integrated Environmental Information System of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye.

4) To be able to create a Lead Joint Registration Dossier through the Chemical Registration System and to register the substance as per the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.

5) To be able to create a Member Joint Registration Dossier through the Chemical Registration System and to register the substance as per the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.

6) To be able to recognize and use the Chemical Safety Assessment and Reporting System (KGDRS), which is integrated into the Chemical Registration System, and to create a Chemical Safety Report.

7) To be able to find out and correct the errors that may be encountered during submission of the Lead Registration Dossiers for approval by the Ministry.

8) To meet the update requests received from the Ministry for Lead Registration Dossiers after submitting said dossiers for approval by the Ministry.

To make updates other than those required by the Ministry after submitting Lead Registration Dossiers for approval by the Ministry.

People with the following qualifications can enroll for this particular training program:

Those who

1. has completed 64-hours mandatory Chemical Assessment Specialist (KDU) training &

2. hold a KDU certificate







1) Teaching methods and techniques such as lecturing, Q&A, discussion, brainstorming, individual studies and group studies will be used for topics in the training content.

2) During lecturing, participants will be asked verbal questions that will make them think. Each participant will be given the opportunity to log in to KKS on their personal computer and practice what they have learned. The questions that arise in the meantime will be discussed.

3) The instructor should ask reinforcement questions that cover a review of each topic verbally, in writing or in the form of group studies.

4) The topics explained by the instructor during the lecture will be provided to the participants in the form of printed booklets to be used as lecture notes. Additionally, all supporting documentation required for the training and exam will be provided to the participants in a manner that they can be used in printed form or on computer environment. Therefore, participants are required to have their personal computers with them.

5) Various guides and websites, which are resources for practicing and detailed studies, will be introduced with short practices and explanations.


A. REGULATIONS, ANNEXES AND GUIDELINES (2 TRAINING HOURS)

1. Introducing of KKDIK Regulation and the annexes to this regulation and the related guidelines.

2. Understanding how the annexes to KKDIK Regulation and the related guidelines can be used.

3. Gaining information regarding KKDIK Regulation & their duties and responsibilities in accordance with this regulation

B. CHEMICAL REGISTRATION SYSTEM (2 TRAINING HOURS)

1. Introducing Chemical Registration System (KKS) connected to the Integrated Environmental Information System (e-ÇBS) of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change (MoEUCC) of the Republic of Türkiye

2. Learning how to navigate the Chemical Registration System (KKS) connected to the Integrated Environmental Information System of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change (e.g. Pre-SIEF notification and related fields)

C. PREPARATION OF LEAD JOINT REGISTRATION DOSSIER (4 TRAINING HOURS)

1. Generating a Lead Joint Registration Dossier through the Chemical Registration System (KKS)

2.  Learning how to register a substance as a Lead Registrant through the Chemical Registration System (KKS)

D. PREPARATION OF MEMBER JOINT REGISTRATION DOSSIER (3 TRAINING HOURS)

1. Generating a Member Joint Registration Dossier through the Chemical Registration System (KKS)

2.  Learning how to register a substance as a member registrant through the Chemical Registration System (KKS)

E. CHEMICAL SAFETY ASSESSMENT AND REPORTING SYSTEM (KGDRS) and CHEMICAL SAFETY REPORT (KGR) (3 TRAINING HOUR)

1. Introducing the Chemical Safety Assessment and Reporting System (KGDRS), which is integrated into the Chemical Registration System

2. Learning how to use the Chemical Safety Assessment and Reporting System (KGDRS)

3. Creating a Chemical Safety Report using the Chemical Safety Assessment and Reporting System (KGDRS)

F. ERRORS THAT MAY BE ENCOUNTERED DURING AND AFTER THE SUBMISSION OF A LEAD JOINT REGISTRATION DOSSIER FOR APPROVAL (2 TRAINING HOURS)

1. Learing how to find out and correct any errors that may be encountered during the submission of Lead Registration Dossiers for approval by the Ministry

2. Managing the update requests by the Ministry regarding the registration dossiers, and update the registration dossiers without a request by the Ministry
